In response to Scott Kelly, a former NASA astronaut, who took issue with Musk for allegedly making fun of the LGBTQ+ community. Musk wrote, “Forcing your pronouns upon others when they didn’t ask, and implicitly ostracizing those who don’t, is neither good nor kind to anyone.”

Musk tweeted, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” which set the whole thing off. He also made the suggestion. As of late, he has stated that he is “open-minded about the lab leak hypothesis.” On December 19, 2017, NIH lifted a three-year ban on funding gain-of-function (GOF) research on potential pandemic viruses like avian flu, SARS, and MERS.
