As reported by Coingape, the reason behind SHIB’s massive price surge is those Telegram messages by Shiba Inu’s lead developer. Shytoshi recently advised the SHIB community to “keep popcorn on the ready.”
Shiba enthusiasts decided that it was another hint related to the Shibarium launch that may or may not take place on February 14, Valentine’s Day. The assumptions are related to the tweet where Kusama said that he was preparing to release the product in “a heart-shaped box.”
